Standard Work HS Banner V1-2

Welcome to our webinar on "Standard Work - Key To Sustenance." Standard Work is considered one of the fundamental tools in TPS (Toyota Production System). Unfortunately, it is also one of the least understood and most ineffectively used.

One of the seven wastes of Lean (Muda) is the waste of human motion. Standard Work is developed by minimizing human motion and creating an ergonomic, productive, and safe method to produce high-quality products or services. Clearly defined and visualized Standard Work then serves as a foundation for sustainability and further improvement.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

  • This program gives an overview of step by step approach to designing Standard Work & equip participants  with a basic, but powerful tool for minimising waste.
  • Participants will understand
    • Muda of motion, movement

    • The meaning of ‘Standards’ in Lean & importance of 4 M Standards.

    • Overview of Workstation design & Layout design & their importance in achieving ‘Standard work’

    • Elements of Standard Work

  • From the Case study presented by the facilitator, participants will gain confidence in implementation of Standard Work.

Key Takeaways

  • Steps to implement Standard work
  • The difference between Standardization, Standards & Standard work
  • Key elements of Workstation design
  • Standard Work formats:
    • Process Capacity Table
    • Standard Work sheet
    • Standard work combination table

Let's embark on this transformative journey together.
